SCARPA Men’s Zen Pro Hiking Shoe Review

SCARPA Men's Zen Pro Hiking Shoe

  • Leather
  • Imported
  • Rubber sole
  • Injected EVA midsole provides support and comfort
  • Rubber toe rand gives you protection from obstacles on the trail
  • Vibram Spyder II sole for performance in varied terrain
  • SCARPA Sock-Fit DV construction provides a performance fit
  • 37.5 fabric lining to manage moisture wicking and odor control.

Take the wildly popular zen of yesteryear and…upgrade the eva midsole with an injected model for longer life. Upgrade the vibram® sole to the spyder 2, which offers great stick, but won’t pick up pebbles and gravel. Upgrade the leather along the side with pu-injected reinforcing, improving abrasion resistance. Upgrade the fit with scarpa’s sock-fit dv system, giving them the feel of a running shoe, but the sensitivity of an approach shoe. That’s our theme for the zen pro this year – upgrade. Try on a pair and feel it.

Innovation and tradition share equally deep roots at SCARPA, a muti-generational, family-owned business whose headquarters and manufacturing facilities are in the same region of northern Italy where it was founded in 1938. SCARPA builds performance footwear for climbing, hiking, skiing, mountaineering, trail-running and other outdoor pursuits. Aside from being the Italian word for “shoe,” SCARPA is an acronym for Societa Calzaturiera Asolana Riunita Pedemontana Anonima (Associated Shoe Manufacturing Company of the Asolo Mountain Area).
